We are proud to share that Lieutenant General Arvind Walia (Retd.), Batch of 1982 and BITS Distinguished Service Awardee 2024, has been conferred the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) for Distinguished Service by the Hon’ble President of India on the occasion of Republic Day 2026.

The PVSM is one of the highest military decorations, awarded for service of the most exceptional order in the Indian Armed Forces. Lt. Gen Walia’s exemplary leadership and lifelong dedication to the nation continue to inspire generations.
