Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, an institute of eminence, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, to promote cooperation in education and scientific research between the two institutions. The agreement lays the foundation for collaboration aimed at advancing academic engagement, research exchange, and global learning opportunities for students and faculty.

𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝑼, 𝑩𝑰𝑻𝑺 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒊 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒎𝒐𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔. The institutions will also endeavor to promote faculty development and exchange, including summer teaching opportunities for faculty members and university immersion initiatives. Furthermore, both universities will seek to identify opportunities for collaboration in research, knowledge-sharing, and the hosting of joint academic events and conferences.

The MoU is intended to strengthen international collaboration while supporting academic excellence and innovation at both institutions.
